The i-LINK Mini cable outers are now the lightest available weighing only 15 g/m compared to 33 g/m for conventional outer. They are slimmer in diameter that the standard 5 mm i-LINK outers and can make tighter bends!
i-LINK Mini compressionless control system is only suitable for gear systems. They use a standard 1.1 mm gear cable, and can be used with Powercordz 1.2 mm gear cordz.
But as well as function - they also look trick and are available in anodised red, blue, black and gold.The system also includes a polyethylene liner that completely covers the entire inner cable from shifter to mech. This provides the perfect UK weather-proof cable system.
The kit includes enough outer and inner liner for front and rear cables, slick PTFE coated inners, all the necessary ferrules and stops, and two neat rubber tubes to prevent cable rub around the head tube.
Weight for the complete uncut kit is ~80 g.
